If this is wrong, what has it accomplished?
Asked that those who believe in God, to continue to believe in God? To put one of the triune heads of the Christian God, that labelled the Father, at the head of the table?
Noone that doesn't believe in God has been asked to by that Mithas expose'.
Noone that believes in God is asked not to. Noone that loves Jesus is asked to stop loving Jesus. The harm if this is all a big mistake? Negligible to none.
What benefit do YOU provide with your arguments if this is wrong? None. You do not convince anyone to change their beliefs, nor do you add anything. You simply argue against people who believe in God being asked to believe in God. What IS it that you accomplish if this is wrong? You accomplish nothing. If this is wrong, we have both accomplished nothing, nothing bad, nothing good. Nothing.
On the other hand, what if this is correct? What have YOU accomplished then? What exactly have you done?
You perhaps have asked those who would continue in a belief that is antithetical to what they are hoping to accomplish (salvation of their spirit), to ignore a message that could, with minor adjustment, set their path straight. Rather than worshipping a man God, they would simply turn to the the other head of their triune God.
No harm no foul, and whew, on they go down their spiritual Path.
You would take away a life preserver, because you cannot see how deep the water is, and you could be right. But what's the harm of the life preserver if you are? What's the harm of not grabbing it if you're wrong?
The logic of your side just doesn't make any sense. Now, no doubt, you will try to justify it. You are after all, a wrestling go-getter who won't accept defeat.
You have already won. Your statements are there. You have already accomplished what you came to accomplish. Now it's just a matter of waiting to see....if you were right.
Let's hope for their sakes that you were.

if it's wrong...you're wasting people's time...that's what's wrong. i wouldn't compare it to a life preserver which is completely agreed by all to be a good thing, but rather some amorphous blob...you grab it and it might save you, or it might just be the tail of some shark or a trap set by angry sea hunters who knows?

I take very kindly to our dear stork daddy assuming that I said anyone was wasting their time. It's his way of pointing out how carefully he didn't read the content of the post at mithras.
