ended up late to work when i discovered that a certain Tonya had stashed herself in my backpack just before i headed out the door
As i unzipped the top of the pack andreached in to the bag to grab a different CD while i was waiting for my connecting bus, i felt fur and hears "Mree-row-Rowr!?" and noticed a pair of golden eyes staring up from the black of the bag's interior
being at a bus stop next to a busy street, i immediately had to zip her back in the bag before she got any bright ideas about getting out and was just lucky enouhg to catch one of my neighbors at the grocery store across the street from the bus stop to run me back to the house on their way back
once i got back to the house, it took another 15 minutes to coax her out of the bag because all of the jostling about apparently left her in no mood to do anything other than to continue hiding in there
of course, since she threatened me with a handful of claw and bitemarks if i tried to reach in and get her, i felt no ther choice but to use the spray-bottle persuasion method
but before i evicted her from the bag, i figured i owed her at least a couple of minutes to settle down

i've got a cute story called take_your_kitten_on_vacation.
i was sleeping this morning and i heard the sound of my kitten scratching something. that wouldn't strike me as out of the ordinary, but it sounded more like the sound of a trapped kitten. it was just a hunch. (kitten_moms just have that kind of intuition). there was an unzipped suitcase by the bed. i opened it up, and there was the feline. i got her out, but i knew that wouldn't be the end of it. i tryed to go back to sleep but i heard her messing with the suitcase. i saw her climbing into it, and her tail was sticking out the end. she didn't seem to realize that she can get in by herself, but needed the human to get out. she was pretty damn lucky i hadn't left for day :)
