i was more aware of ours than you realized, i think. i let many things go based on them. but i think you had no idea about the family culture i grew up in. germans are cold about their feelings. we don't talk about them. we don't share. we just stand by each_other and take care of each_other. my culture almost conquered the world once too. the difference is i don't think hitler waited for his mommy's permission. |
