the fairy tree grew from the grave of Cinderella's dead mother [the submereged Goddess]. this tree spirit provided her daughther [humanity] with fine clothes and golden apples, which were not given to the two greedy stepsisters [church and state]. thus the maternal, all giving tree became a fairy wishing-tree, especially for women, who had little more than wishes to sustain them in those virulently patriarchal times. |
