ant_time
sameolme My early studies of entomological
relativity were based on the tiny size of ants.It followed that their time would be equally tiny. I calculated that an ant day should be about 5 minutes. To test my theory I followed an ant through its tiny day. I thought for sure that I would catch it stopping and going to sleep becauce it was its bedtime already. I didn't see it happen!
Well, perhaps it sleeps such a tiny sleep that I missed it when I blinked.
I became more disciplined in my observation, hardly blinking at all.
Alas, all this rigorous effort made me sleepy ,I closed my eyes and took a nap.
My older sister came and found me and brought me in the house.
That day I proved conclusively that older sisters are the enemy of science.
