i remember reading once that people born on my birthdate are "apt to discourage casual acquaintances" i thought it was strange at the time; why would someone make an effort to discourage an acquaintance? but now i think it's something i do involuntarily i'm not sure why maybe i just don't see the point being in a room with a bunch of casual acquaintances doesn't make you feel any less lonely than being by yourself and if nothing ever more ever comes of the 'relationships,' why bother? i think what i discourage is a lack of intimacy. |
