My first reaction to your posting was the question, "What difference between the spirit and the soul?". I understood them to be the one and the same. SOUL: the immaterial essence, animating principle, or actuating cause of an individual life. SPIRIT: an animating or vital principle held to give life to physical organisms. A careful read and you will see that these two definitions (Websters) are essentially the same. If, as you say, you do have a spirit, now you know you do have a soul as well. Now that your soul is 'out of the closet', what will you do? ;-) ³
