they don't appreciate my peace shirt.
all it says is,
"think peace. support the anti-war movement." and it has a peace sign on the front. on the back it says, "war doesn't decide who's right, only who's left." and well. i like this shirt.
but now i can't wear it out of the house.
i said she couldn't decide what i wore and what i didn't. but then she said, "yes i can." and i really didn't feel like proving my point. i already proved it to myself, so what else matters?
now i just don't think i'll leave the house.
dirty republicans. they are polluting the air i breathe.

this is almost beyond comprehension. very very disturbing. when peace is seen as a bad thing, something is dreadfully wrong.
what's even more sad is that this is taking place in california (if i did my blather_stalking correctly).
can you wear it under a sweatshirt and sneak out the contraband that way?

see that's the problem with that kind of thing. there's always someone who wants to punch you in the face just for wearing that sweatshirt. or for cutting them off on the freeway. and then if they hit you hard enough, things are peaceful for a while. until someone punches them in the face or cuts them off again or whatever. if only we could get rid of all the people who like to punch people in the face. that sounds violent though.

oh yes. don't think that she will stop me from wearing it. she said it offended her personally. it made me so angry i could scream...
i hate it when people go around in circles instead of just admitting where the problem is. instead of saying she just didn't like it because it went against her political beliefs, she said it was because she felt it was wrong to state your political/religious opinions in public and that she didn't want people thinking bad things about us when i wore it. but then i asked why it was okay for fred to wear the shirts that said "merry christmas, jesus is the reason for the season"...that's a religious opinion? it just doesn't go against her belief.
oh well she is smart. she came by and knew i was talking about her on here. it's not the end of the world and i only live here part time and i love my stepmum to death...it just really bothered me. im tired of being shut down for "thinking peace"

she said she doesn't care if people think bad about us. and now i just don't know what to think. i want to drop the whole deal. i wish i had never worn the fing shirt in the first place. i dont want to argue with anyone. that shirt is just comfy.
